The characteristics of ultrasonic heat meters varied with water temperature

The performance test was conducted with flow-rate from 0.1 to 3 ¾ while changing the water temperature from 5 to 45 'C using three sets of each of the combination type and integral ultrasonic heat meters sample DN150A for water. It was basically maintained at 3 to 4 bar the range of pressure fluctuation during the test process for check bubbles in the water. It was confirmed that the error within the calibration range was stably maintained for three samples when the temperature was changed. As the temperature increased between the samples, the error test after initial fabrication did not clearly show a tendency to increase or decrease in the + and -error directions for the compact & integrated type within the approved range. When this was converted into Re number and compared, it was easily confirmed that the performance changed in the direction of slightly increasing the error as the temperature increased.
