중국 ‘조선족 원로 전쟁 구술아카이브’ 데이터 분석: 한국전쟁과 해방전쟁을 중심으로

Data Analysis of the Oral Archive of the Wars by Joseonjok Elders -Focusing on the Participation in the Korean War and the Liberation War

본고는 ‘조선족 원로 구술아카이브’의 존재성을 알려 본 자료가 연구자들에게 보다 폭넓게 활용되는데 그 목적이 있다. 이에 구술아카이브의 전체 모습을 드러내는데 목표를 두고, 이를 효과적으로 실현하기 위한 방법으로 워드 클라우드 방법과 네트워크 분석법을 활용하고자 한다. 워드 클라우드 방법은 전체 아카이브에서 가장 빈도수가 높은 중심어를 추출하여 이를 시각적으로 구현하는데 활용하고 네트워크 분석법은 중심키워드 사이의 연결성 정도를 파악하여 군집화함으로써 함축된 의미를 파악하는데 사용하고자 한다. 본고에서 다루고자 하는 부분은 한국전쟁(6.25)과 해방전쟁(국공내전)으로 조선족이 만주로 이주한 후 정착하는 과정에서 참전한 전쟁들이다. 구체적으로 두 전쟁시기 만주에서의 삶은 어떠했고 왜 전쟁에 참여했으며 참전 상황은 어떠했는지 그리고 두 전쟁이 조선족들에게 미친 영향은 어떠했는지를 조선족 원로들의 증언 분석을 통해 살펴본다. 본고를 통해 밝혀진 사실은 만주지역에서 정착하는 과정에서 살아남기 위해 공산당에 가입했고 그 결과 공산당이 승리하도록 국공내전에 적극적으로 참여하였으며 이러한 기조는 한국전쟁에서도 그대로 이어져 통역병, 간호사 등으로 참전했다는 사실이다. 소수민족으로써 인정받기위해 다른 민족보다 더 적극적으로 공산당에 협조했던 조선족들의 삶이 재구성되는데 본 구술아카이브가 활용될 수 있기를 기대해 본다.

The purpose of this paper is to make researchers aware of the existence of the oral archives of Joseonjok elders and to encourage them to utilize them more widely. The paper aims to reveal the full picture of the oral archive and utilizes the word cloud method and network analysis method to effectively realize this goal. The word cloud method extracts the most frequent key words from the entire archive and uses them to create a visual representation, while the network analysis method identifies the degree of connectivity between key words and clusters them to identify the implied meanings. In the paper, I focus on the Korean War and the Liberation War, which were the wars fought by Joseonjok during their migration to Manchuria and subsequent settlement. Specifically, I examined what life was like in Manchuria during the two wars, why they participated in the wars, the circumstances of their participation, and the impact of the two wars on Joseonjok through the analysis of the testimonies of Joseonjok elders. What I find is that, in order to survive their resettlement in Manchuria, they joined the Communist Party and, as a result, actively participated in Chinese Civil War to help the Communist Party win, and that they continued to participate in the Korean War as interpreters and nurses. It is hoped that this oral archive will be used to reconstruct the lives of Joseonjok who cooperated with the Communist Party more actively than other ethnic groups in order to be recognized as an ethnic minority.
