지역 연계 환경교육이 초등학생의 환경태도에 미치는 영향- 경기꿈의학교 사례를 중심으로-

Impact of Regional Environmental Education on Elementary School Students’ Environmental Attitudes - Focusing on the Gyeonggi Dream School -

이 연구는 지역 사회 연계 환경교육이 초등학생의 환경태도에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 수행하였다. 연구 참여자는 20명으로 경기꿈의학교 공모사업에 신청하여 선발된 학생들이었다. 지역 연계 환경교육 프로그램은 프로젝트로 개발되었으며, 전문가 검토 과정을 거쳐 16주차 76차시로 개발하였다. 효과분석을 위해 환경태도 검사지(CHEAKS)를 사용하였으며, 대응표본 t-검정과 상관관계 분석을 하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지역 연계 환경교육은 초등학생들의 환경태도 함양에 효과가 있었다. 둘째, 지역 연계 환경교육 프로그램은 환경일반, 환경오염, 기후변화, 에너지 등 각 주제에 대한 환경태도 함양에 효과가 있었다. 셋째, 지역 연계 환경교육 프로그램은 수업 후 학생들에게 실천하는 태도로 전이되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이 연구의 결과가 지역과 연계한 다양한 환경교육 프로그램 개발로 이어지기를 기대한다.

This study analyzes the impact of the communitybondingeducation on elementary school students’ environmental attitudes. A total of 20 research participants from Gyeonggi Dream School applied for the regional environmental education program. The regional environmental education program was developed as a project with 76 sessions conducted over 16 weeks, based on the developmental experience of experts. To analyze the effectiveness of the program, a response sample t-test and success relationship analysis were performed using the environmental attitude test (CHEAKS). The results of this study are as follows. First, linked local environmental education was effective in improving the students’ environmental attitudes. Second, the program was effective in cultivating environmental attitudes on various topics, such as the general environment, environmental pollution, environmental change, and energy. Therefore, the region-based environmental education program improved the attitudes of the students. We hope that the results of this study will lead to the development of further region-based environmental programs.
