The purpose of this study was to examine Korean Society’s overall perceptions of young children at-risk using big data. Data were collected from Textom—a big data analysis solution—from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2022, using “at-risk + infant,” “at-risk + young child,” and “at-risk + child” as keywords. The collected raw data were subjected to primary and secondary refinement procedures of data cleaning. Then, network analysis was conducted on the data. Frequency analysis was performed to find the top ranking frequently appearing keywords. Centrality analysis was performed for degree centrality, closeness centrality, and betweenness centrality, to determine the relationship between the keywords in the network. The main findings are as follows. First, the frequency analysis revealed that the top three keywords in the entire network were “support,” “occurrence,” and “development.” Second, in the centrality analysis, the keywords “occurrence,” “development,” “parent,” “problem,” and “research” were found to have high degree centrality, closeness centrality, and betweenness centrality. Thus, it is important to understand a society’s social perceptions of young children at-risk. The findings can form the basis for future research, policy development, and national support for young children at-risk.
