교직관 및 인성교육역량 신장을 위한 예비교사 대상 프로그램의 사례연구

A Case Study on the Program for Pre-service Teachers to Improve Teaching Profession and Character Education Competency

과학기술이 발전하고 교육생태계가 변화하고 있지만 ‘높은 도덕성’, ‘사회성 및 감성지능’, ‘사회정의의 추구’, ‘교직에 대한 열정’ 등은 미래의 교사교육 패러다임에서도 중요하게 취급될 것이다. 이러한 문제의식 아래, 본 연구는 예비교사의 교직관 및 인성교육역량 향상 프로그램을 운영하고 그 효과성을 검증하고자 한다. 2021년 1학기의 중부권의 교원양성기관의 예비교사 148명을 대상으로 예비교사교육 프로그램을 운영하였다. 이 프로그램은 교직관, 인성교육, 다문화교육 및 시민교육 등을 주요내용으로 다루었다. 이러한 예비교사교육의 효과성을 검증하기 위해, 사전-사후검사를 실시하고 대응표본 t-검정으로 분석하였다. 이 결과 예비교사의 교직관, 인성교육효능감이 유의미하게 향상되었다. 본 연구는 이러한 분석을 기반으로 하여, 교직관 및 인성교육역량 향상을 위한 예비교사교육에 대한 제언을 덧붙였다.

Despite the development of science & technology and changes in the educational system, ‘high morality’, ‘social and emotional intelligence’, ‘pursuit of social justice’, and ‘passion for the teaching profession’ will be treated as important things in the future teacher paradigm. Based on this awareness of the problem, this study intends to develop and operate a program to improve pre-service teachers’ teaching profession and character education competency, and verify the effectiveness. During the 2021 Spring semester, 148 pre-service teachers, in a college of education located in Chungbuk Province, were participated in this research. The curriculum included several areas of teaching profession, character education, multi-cultural education, and civic education. In order to verify the effectiveness of this program, pre- and post-survey were conducted and analyzed with t-tests. In the statistics, pre-service teachers’ teaching profession and character education efficacy were significantly improved. Based on these results, this paper adds further suggestions for pre-service teacher education.
