신경과학의 기억 재공고화 개념을 적용한 국내 상담분야 연구 동향 분석 : 주제범위 문헌고찰

Research Trends in Korea Counseling Field on the Application of Neuroscientific Memory Reconsolidation: A Scoping Review

본 연구의 목적은 주제범위 문헌 고찰을 통해 국내 상담 분야에서 신경과학적 발견인 기억 재공고화 기제에 대한 연구 방향을 제시하는 데 근거자료로 활용하기 위함이다. 이를 위해 전자 데이터베이스를 통해 조사하여 2012년부터 2023년까지 국내에서 발표된 문헌 61편으로부터 선정 기준에 따라 6편을 최종 추출하였다. 문헌 분석 결과 신경과학적 측면의 기억 재공고화 기제를 통해 공포 반응, 외상 기억의 형성과 약물처치 반응, 고통 기억 노출, 자기 노출, 무의식적 정서기억, 기억 갱신의 예측 조건과 같은 다양한 심리 증상 및 반응 등을 설명하였으나, 기제를 주제로 한 다학제적 국내 선행연구 정보 활용 및 기제에 대한 체계적 정보 제공이 제한적이었다. 본 연구는 상담 분야에서 신경과학 측면에서의 기억 재공고화 기제에 대한 연구 현황을 지도화하여 지식의 격차를 식별했다는 점에 의의가 있으며, 향후 상담분야에서 신경과학적 지식과 정보를 적용한 연구의 발전 방향을 논의하였다.

This research aimed to examine the direction of research on the mechanisms of memory reconsolidation as a view of neuroscientific discovery in the counseling field through a scoping review in Korea. For this purpose, it was searched through electronic databases. It finally extracted six out of sixty-one papers from literature published in Korea from 2012 to 2023 according to the selection criteria. As a result of the research, although various psychological states were explained in the counseling field as a memory reconsolidation mechanism, access to and utilization of multidisciplinary neuroscientific information was limited. This research is significant in identifying the gap in knowledge by mapping the current status of research on the mechanisms of memory reconsolidation from a neuroscience perspective in counseling.
