고령자의 디지털 역량 수준이 이용 태도에 미치는 영향: 디지털 정보생산 공유와 네트워킹의 이중매개효과 분석

The Impact of Elderly Individuals' Digital Competence on Attitudes towards Digital Usage: Analysis of the Dual Mediating Effects of Digital Information Production, Sharing, and Networking

본 연구는 고령자의 디지털 사용 수준을 높이는 것을 목적으로 디지털 역량 수준이 디지털이용 태도에 미치는 영향에서 디지털 정보생산 공유와 네트워킹의 효과를 함께 분석하였다. 연구대상으로는 한국지능정보사회진흥원(NIA)에서 실시한 ‘2022 디지털정보격차 실태조사’ 패널데이터 중 만 55세 이상 고령층 2,300명을 대상으로 분석하였고, 데이터는 지자체별 비례할당표집으로 대인 면접조사를 통해 수집한 자료를 활용하였다. 분석 방법으로는 SPSS Statistics 26.0 및 SPSS Process Macro를 사용하여 기술통계, 상관관계, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구의 대상은 만 55세 이상 고령층으로 디지털 정보생산 및 공유와 디지털 네트워킹 수준이 평균 이하 수준임을 확인할 수 있었다. 둘째, 상관관계 분석에서 4개의 변수(디지털 정보화 역량 수준, 디지털 기기 이용 태도, 정보생산 및공유, 네트워킹) 모두 높은 수준의 상관관계를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 고령층의 역량수준과 디지털 이용 태도의 관계에서 디지털 정보생산 공유와 디지털을 이용한 네트워킹이이중매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석 결과를 토대로 본 연구에서는 고령자의디지털 역량 수준이 디지털 이용 태도에 미치는 영향에서 디지털 정보생산 공유와 네트워킹의 순차적 매개효과에 관한 이론적·정책적 함의를 제시하였다.

This study aims to enhance the level of digital usage among elderly individuals by analy zing the effects of digital competence on attitudes toward digital usage, along with the mediating effects of digital information production, sharing, and networking. The study analyzed a sample of 2,300 elderly individuals aged 55 years and above who participated in the “2022 Survey on the Digital Information Gap” conducted by the National Information Society Agency(NIA) in Korea. The data was gathered through face-to-face interviews based on a proportionate quota sampling method across various local governments. The analysis employed SPSS Statistics 26.0 and SPSS Process Macro to perform descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multi regression analysis. The research findings are as follows. Firstly, the subjects of this study were those aged 55 and older, and it was confirmed that their levels of digital information production, sharing, and networking were below average. Secondly, the correlation analysis showed that all four variables(digital competency level, digital device usage attitude, information production and sharing, and networking) exhibited a high level of correlation. Thirdly, it was found that the competence level of the elderly population and their attitudes towards digital usage have dual mediating effects through digital information production, sharing, and networking. Based on these findings, this study provides theoretical and policy implications regarding the mediating effects of digital information production, sharing, and networking on the impact of elderly individuals' digital competence on attitudes towards digital usage.
