Effects of psychological traits, environmental var iables on smar tphone overdependence in adolescents

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of psychological traits(self esteem, aggression, attention, depression, academic helplessness), environmental variables(parental rejection, parental coercion, peer relationship) on smartphone overdependence in adolescents. Data from 2,359 adolescents 3th grade of middle school of the 「KCYPS 2018」were used. The results were as follows: First, as a result of analyzing the correlation between psychological traits and environmental variables, smartphone overdependence, all variables had a significant relationship. Second, Among the variable attention had the greatest effect on smartphone overdependence.
