지구를 생각하는 생태학교 시범 사업의 효과 분석 - 용인시 중학생의 생태전환 소양에 미치는 영향을 중심으로 -

Analysis of the Effects of the Earth-Conscious Ecological School Project: Focusing on the Ecological Transformation Literacy of Middle School Students in Yongin City

이 연구는 용인시의 생태전환 교육 사업이 중학생의 생태전환 소양에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 용인시는 2개의 중학교에 환경교육을 전담하는 환경교육사를 파견하여 교사, 학생, 학부모를 대상으로 생태전환 교육을 하도록 지원하였다. 생태전환 교육에 참여한 중학생 670명을 대상으로 생태전환 교육 사전과 사후에 생태전환 소양 검사를 하였고 사후에 일부 학생을 대상으로 집단면담을 하였다. 사전⋅사후 검사의 점수를 통계적으로 분석한 결과, 생태전환 교육에 참여한 학생들의 생태전환 소양 점수가 증가하였다. 집단면담을 통해 수집한 학생들의 생각은 에서도 생태전환 소양의 향상을 확인할 수 있었다. 분석 결과를 볼 때, 용인시의 생태전환 교육 사업은 학생들의 생태전환 소양의 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 준 것으로 보인다.

This study analyzed the impact of the ecological transformation education project in Yongin City on the ecological transformation literacy of middle school students. Yongin City hired environmental education instructors in two middle schools to provide ecological transformation education to teachers, students, and parents. A total of 670 middle school students who participated in the project were surveyed before and after the ecological transformation education, and thereafter, a group interview was conducted with some students. Statistical analysis of the pre- and post-test scores revealed that students who participated in ecological transformation education increased their ecological transformation literacy scores. The students’ thoughts, collected through group interviews, also affirmed the enhancement of ecological transformation literacy. Based on the results of the analysis, the ecological transformation education project in Yongin City appears to have a positive effect on the improvement of students’ ecological transformation literacy
