어머니의 심리적 통제가 대학생의 사회불안에 미치는 영향: 자아분화의 매개효과와 사회적 지지로 조절된 자아분화의 매개효과

The Influence of Parental Psychological Control on Social Anxiety of College Students: Mediating effects of self-differentiation and self-differentiation controlled by social support

본 연구는 어머니의 심리적 통제가 대학생의 사회불안에 미치는 영향에서, 자아분화의 매개효과 및 사회적 지지로 조절된 자아분화의 매개효과를 파악하기 위해 수행되었다. 수도권 소재의 대학에 재학 중인 대학생 541명을 대상으로 설문을 진행하여 불충분한 자료 53부를 제외한 후 총 488부를 분석에 사용하였다. 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 심리적 통제가 높을수록 자아분화는 낮아지고 사회불안은 높아졌으며, 자아분화와 사회적 지지가 높을수록 대학생의 사회불안이 낮아졌다. 둘째, 어머니의 심리적 통제와 대학생의 사회불안 간의 관계에서 자아분화 및 사회적 지지로 조절된 자아분화의 매개효과가 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해서 어머니의 높은 심리적 통제로 인해서 높은 사회불안을 경험하는 대학생에게 자아분화 및 사회적 지지의 증진이 유용함을 확인하였다.

Objectives: This study was conducted to understand the mediating effect of self-differentiation and the mediating effect of self-differentiation controlled by social support in the effect of the the mother's psychological control on the social anxiety of college students. Methods: A survey was conducted on 541 college students enrolled in universities in the Seoul metropolitan area, excluding 53 with insufficient data; and 488 surveys were used for analysis. Results: The main results are as follows. First, the higher the mother's psychological control, the lower the self-differentiation and social anxiety; and the higher the self-differentiation and social support, the lower the social anxiety of college students. Second, in the relationship between the mother's psychological control and the college student's social anxiety, a mediating effect of self-differentiation controlled by self-differentiation and social support appeared.
