Impact of Clinical Nurses' Cultural Competency, Empathy ability, and Transcultural Efficacy on Nursing Performance

Purpose: This study is a descriptive research study to determine the relationship between cultural competency, empathy ability, transcultural efficacy, and nursing performance among clinical nurses and to identify factors influencing nursing performance. Methods: The collected data was analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 28 program, and the correlation between variables was analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficient, and the impact on nursing performance was ana-lyzed using multiple regression analysis. Results: Nursing performance showed a positive correlation with cultural com-petency, empathy ability, and transcultural efficacy. Factors influencing nursing performance were cultural competency and transcultural efficacy. The explanatory power of these variables on nursing performance was found to be 22.3%. Conclusion: In order to perform culturally appropriate nursing care for a variety of foreign subjects, it is necessary to develop educational strategies to promote pan-cultural nursing skills at the organizational level.
