Purpose: This study is examined the TOEIC class experience of college students majoring in nursing. Method: In-depth interviews were conducted with 10 nursing students who completed TOEIC classes and agreed to participate in the study. The collected data were analyzed using Colaizzi’s (1978) phenomenological research method. Results: After organizing the research results into 17 core themes, similar themes were collected and categorized into five categories. The five: ‘attitude toward TOEIC,’ ‘burden of TOEIC learning,’ ‘help in planning future life,’ ‘strengthening global capabilities,’ and ‘recognition of additional needs for TOEIC learning.’ Conclusion: The participants responded positively that TOEIC classes were necessary for improving their English skills and employment as nurses. Level-specific classes are needed to sup-port TOEIC learning, AI-based personalized TOEIC-class support, and the operation of TOEIC programs during vacation. This study sought to identify and understand the meaning based on the TOEIC class experience of college students ma-joring in nursing. Based on this, its significance is in providing qualitative basic data for TOEIC classes.
