사회적 배제가 노인세대의 삶 만족도에 미치는 영향 - 자아존중감의 매개효과 중심으로-

The Effect of Social Exclusion on the Life Satisfaction of the Elderly Generations - The Mediation Effect of Self- esteem -

본 연구는 사회적 배제가 노인세대의 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향요인을 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구를 통해 나타난 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회적 관련 배제는 삶의 만족도에 부(-)의 영향을 미치며, 경제, 건강, 주거 관련 배제는 삶의 만족도에 직접 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 경제, 건강, 주거, 사회적 관련 배제는 자아존중감에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자아존중감은 삶의 만족도에 양(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 사회적 배제에서 경제, 건강, 주거 관련 배제와 삶의 만족도 관계에서 자아존중감은 완전 매개역할을 하며, 사회적 관련 배재와 삶의 만족도 관계에서 자아존중감은 부분 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 함의를 기술하였다.

The purpose of this study is to increase the adaptation to old age and life satisfaction of the elderly by identifying the effect of social exclusion on the life satisfaction of the elderly. The results of the study are summarized as follows. First, it was found that social-related exclusion had a negative(-) effect on life satisfaction, and economic, health, and housing-related exclusion did not directly affect on life satisfaction. Second, it was found that economic, health, housing, and social-related exclusion had a negative(-) effect on self-esteem. Third, it was found that self-esteem had a positive(+) effect on life satisfaction. Fourth, in social exclusion, self-esteem had a complete mediating effect in the relationship between economic, health, and housing-related exclusion and life satisfaction, and self-esteem had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between social exclusion and life satisfaction. The implications were described based on these research results.
