그림책『나도 가족일까?』를 통해 정상가족담론을 넘어 미래가족담론 생성하기

Creating future family discourse beyond normal family discourse through picture book「Am I also a family?」

본 연구는 그림책 『나도 가족일까?』의 글과 그림 텍스트를 해석학적으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 혈연을 넘어선 연대의 혼종체, 같음을 넘어선 닮음의 공동체, 의무를 넘어선 윤리적 감응체로 드러났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 영유아교육과 연계하여 다음과 같이 논의하였다. 첫째, 미래가족담론의 실현을 위해 영유아 교육에서 정상가족담론이 강조되고 있는 부분을 재고할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 영유아교육기관에서는 입양과 관련된 열린 시각을 가지고, 입양가족 내 어린이의 존재론적 사유와 행위를 존중할 수 있는 입양 관련 교수학습을 수행할 수 있어야 한다. 셋째, 부모의 역할을 미래가족담론으로 재고할 필요가 있다. 넷째, 영유아교육을 둘러싼 사회제도 등의 교육정책에 정상가족 형태를 넘어선 생활공동체 가족 형태가 반영되어야 할 것이다. 그림책을 통해 미래가족담론을 생성하는 것은 영유아교육현장의 교육과정, 어린이, 부모, 교사에게 가족을 새롭게 사유하는 미래지향적 방향성을 제시해 주었다.

This study analyzed the text and picture text of the picture book 「Am I a family too?」 analytically. The results of the study revealed that it was a hybrid of solidarity beyond blood ties, a community of similarity beyond the same, and an ethical sensitizer beyond duty. Based on these research results, the discussion was conducted in connection with infant education as follows. First, to realize the future family discourse, it is necessary to reconsider the areas in which the normal family discourse is emphasized in infant education. Second, early childhood education institutions should be able to conduct adoption-related teaching and learning that can respect the ontological reasons and actions of children in the adopted family with an open perspective related to adoption. Third, the role of parents as a future family discourse needs to be reconsidered. Fourth, the form of a living community family beyond the normal family form should be reflected in educational policies such as social systems surrounding early childhood education. Creating a future family discourse through picture books provided a future-oriented direction for newly thinking about families to the curriculum, children, parents, and teachers in the ECE field.
