유아교육학 분야에서의 유아 동물 매개 활동 관련 연구동향

Research trends on early childhood animal-mediated activities in early childhood education

본 연구는 유아교육학 분야에서의 유아 동물 매개 활동 관련 연구동향을 분석하여 후속 연구를 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 이에 2000년 1월부터 2023년 8월까지의 국내 학술논문과 학위논문 총 86편을 수집하여 시기별, 방법별, 주제별, 논의 및 시사점별로 분석한 결 과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시기별 분석 결과 학술논문은 2011년부터 2014년 시기에 급격히 증가하다 감소하였고, 학위논문은 2000년부터 현재까지 증가하고 있음을 확인하였다. 둘째, 주로 유아를 대상으로 실내에서 곤충류를 매개로 실행되었으며, 연구방법은 질적연구와 양적연구의 비율이 같았다. 셋째, 연구주제는 유아 발달 관련이 가장 많았다. 넷째, 논의 및 시사점 부분의 내용은 주로 개인적·조직적 측면의 효과, 연구방법의 보완, 활동 지속을 위한 지원 관련 내용이었다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 연구대상을 다양한 교육 주체로 확대한 연구, 교육과정 과 연계한 일상에서의 관계·소통·치유의 가치 탐구를 위한 연구방법의 다각적인 시도, 학제간 교류 및 학문적 심화의 필요성을 시사점으로 제안하였다.

This study provides basic data for follow-up research by analyzing research trends related to animal-mediated activities in the field of early childhood education. Accordingly, classifying and analyzing a total of 86 domestic academic and degree papers from January 2000 to August 2023 by period, method, subject, discussion, and implications revealed the following. First, academic papers increased and decreased rapidly from 2011 to 2014, and degree papers have been increasing from 2000 to the present. Second, the study mainly involved infants, mediated insects indoors, and the ratio of qualitative and quantitative studies was the same. Third, the study had the most topics related to child development. Fourth, the discussion and implications were related to the effects of individual, organizational aspects, supplementation of research methods, and support for continuing activities. Based on the analysis results, various research methods were proposed to explore the value of relationships, communication, and healing in daily life. Regarding the curriculum, interdisciplinary exchanges and academic deepening were suggested as implications.
