무기력한 10세 남아의 모래놀이상담 사례연구 - 캠벨의 영웅 신화론의 관점에서 -

A Case Study on the Sandplay Counseling for a Helpless 10-year-old Boy - From the perspective of Campbell's hero mythology -

본 연구는 모와의 관계에서 안정 애착 경험을 하지 못하여 무기력, 사회적 철수 증상을 보이는 10세 남아 에 대한 모래놀이상담 사례연구이다. 본 연구는 총 14회기로 진행되었고 모래놀이상담 과정을 Campbell의 영웅 신화 구조를 통해 분석해 보았다. 모래놀이상담 과정을 분석한 결과 내담자는 치료자와 모자일체성 을 바탕으로 무의식으로 용감하게 진입해서 치열한 싸움과 투쟁을 통해, 모성 콤플렉스를 극복함으로써 남성으로 자아를 발달시키고 다시 세상으로 나올 수 있는 힘을 얻게 되는 과정을 보여준다. 이는 Campbell 의 출발-입문-귀환의 영웅의 모험 여정을 그대로 따랐으며, 시련과 투쟁을 통해 힘을 강화해가는 남성 영 웅으로서의 모습을 보여준다. 따라서 본 연구는 모래놀이상담을 통해 내담자가 애착 문제를 극복하고 남 성으로 정체성을 구축하는 내적 성장을 이루었음을 확인할 수 있었다.

This study is a case study of sandplay counseling for a 10-year-old boy who shows signs of lethargy and social withdrawal due to his inability to experience stable attachment in relation to his mother. This study was conducted with a total of 14 sessions, and the sand play treatment process was analyzed through Campbell's hero myth structure. According to the analysis of the sandplay counseling process, the client bravely enters the unconscious based on the healer's mother-child unity, develops the self as a man through fierce battles and struggles, and gains the power to come back into the world by overcoming the maternal complex. This follows Campbell's adventure journey of departure-initiation-returning heroes, and shows him as a male hero who strengthens his power through trials and struggles. Therefore, this study confirmed that through sandplay, the client overcame the attachment problem and achieved internal growth in building an identity as a male.
