고령친화산업 연구동향: 2012-2022년 학술연구를 중심으로

Research T rends on t he A ging-F riendly Industry: Focusing on Academic Researches Conducted in 2012-2022

연구목적: 본 연구는 지난 10년간 진행된 고령친화산업 관련 연구 동향을 살펴보고, 향후 이 산업 활성화를 위해 필요한 연구 방향을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 연구동향 분석을 위해 본 연구에서는 2012년부터 2022년 6월까지 진행된 연구 88편을 선정하여 연구 목적, 연구 방법, 고령친화산업 분야별로 분석하였다. 연구결과: 분석 결과는 크게 세 가지 범주로 나눌 수 있습니다. 첫째, 최근까지 고령친화산업을 다루는 연구는 상당수(62.5%)가 탐색적 연구 수준에서 진행되어 왔다. 둘째, 이 분야에서 사용되는 연구방법으로는 문헌검토(47.7%)가 가장 많이 사용되었다. 셋째, 고령친화산업 분야별 세부 연구가 제대로 이루어지지 않고, 일부 특정 분야인 고령친화용품, 식품산업, 미용산업 등에만 집중되어 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 본 연구는 고령친화산업을 다루는 연구들이 탐색적 수준에서 많이 진행되고 있으며, 여전히 고령친화산업의 중요성과 활성화의 시급성을 강조하는 논의가 다수를 이루고 있고, 산업별로 필요한 기술의 실질적 개발이나 발달모델 및 이론구축으로 나아가지 못하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그런 측면에서 이제는 각 고령친화산업에 적합한 기술개발과 발달모델 구축에 보다 힘써야 할 것이며, 각 전문분야에서 고령친화산업에 대한 관심을 가질 수 있도록 하는 노력이 필요함을 언급하였다.

Objective : This study aims to examine the trends of the researches related to the aging-friendly industry conducted over the past 10 years, and to explore the research direction required to revitalize this industry in the future. Methods : For research trend analysis, this research selected 88 research conducted from 2012 to June 2022 and analyzed them according to the research purpose, research method, and aging-friendly industry field. Results : The results of the analysis can be roughly divided into three categories. First, a significant number of studies (62.5%) dealing with the aging-friendly industry were being conducted at the level of exploratory research until recently. Second, the literature review (47.7%) was most frequently used as a research method used in this field. Third, it was found that detailed research by field of the aging-friendly industry was not well conducted, and concentrated on a few specific fields. Conclusion : In order to improve the research diversity of the aging-friendly industry, it is necessary to provide support and opportunities to enable researchers in each specialized field to take an interest in this industry. At the same time, much effort should be put into nurturing talents for each industry who fully understand the characteristics of the elderly in order to revitalize the aging- friendly industry.
