중⋅고령자의 삶의 질에 우울과 사회적 관계가 미치는 영향: 회복탄력성의 매개효과를 중심으로

The Effect of Depression and Social Network on the Quality of Life of Middle-aged and Older Adults: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Resilience

연구목적: 본 연구는 우울과 사회적 관계가 중⋅고령자의 삶의 질에 미치는 영향을 밝히고 그 관계에서 회복탄력성의 매개효과를 검증하고자 한다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 경희대학교 디지털뉴에이징연구소에서 수집한 ｢2021년 건강노화실태조사｣를 활용하여 만 55세 이상 중⋅고령자 515명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 분석은 SPSS 28.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계, 탐색적 요인분석(EFA), 상관관계분석, 위계적 다중회귀분석 및 PROCESS macro version 4.3의 Model 4로 매개효과 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중⋅고령자의 삶의 질과 회복탄력성에 우울은 부적으로, 사회적 관계는 정적으로 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 중⋅고령자의 우울 및 사회적 관계와 삶의 질의 관계에서 회복탄력성이 부분 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 본 연구는 중⋅고령자의 삶의 질에 대한 우울, 사회적 관계의 영향을 확인하고 회복탄력성의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를 통해 중⋅고령자 삶의 질 증진을 위한 회복탄력성 중재프로그램 개발의 기초자료를 제공하고, 연구적, 실천적, 정책적 함의를 제시한다.

Objective : The purpose of this research is to determine the mediating role of resilience in the relationship between depression and social network and the quality of life of middle-aged and older adults. Methods : For this study, data from Kyunghee University's 2021 Health Aging Survey was used, and the final analysis included 515 aged 55 or older. The analysis was conducted using the SPSS 28.0 program to conduct exploratory factor analysis (EFA), correlation analysis, hierarchical multiple regression analysis, and mediation effect analysis using Model 4 of PROCESS macro version 4.3. Results : The research results are as follows. First, depression and social networks were found to have a statistically significant impact on the quality of life and resilience. Second, it was found that resilience partially mediated the relationship between depression, social networks, and quality of life. Conclusion : This finding has research, practice, and policy implications in addition to providing baseline data for the development of resilience intervention programs that improve the quality of life for middle-aged and older adults.
