취업준비생의 평가염려 완벽주의가 취업불안에 미치는 영향: 사회비교 경향성과 부적응적 인지적 정서조절 전략의 매개효과

The Influence of Evaluative Concerns Perfectionism on Job-Seeking Anxiety in University Students: The Mediating Effects of Social Comparison Orientation and Maladaptive Cognitive Emotion Regulation Strategies

본 연구의 목적은 취업준비생의 평가염려 완벽주의가 취업불안에 미치는 영향에서 사회비교 경향성과 부적응적 인지적 정서조절 전략의 매개효과를 살펴보는데 있다. 이를 위하여 P시, S시, G시, D시 등 4개의 시에 소재한 대학의 취업준비생들을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였고, SPSS 21과 MACRO PROCESS 3.5를 사용하여 매개효과를 확인하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 취업준비생의 평가염려 완벽주의, 사회비교 경향성과 부적응적 인지적 정서조절 전략은 취업불안과 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 평가염려 완벽주의는 사회비교 경향성을 매개로 취업불안에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 평가염려 완벽주의는 부적응적 인지적 정서조절 전략을 매개로 취업 불안에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 평가염려 완벽주의는 사회비교 경향성과 부적응적 인지적 정서조절 전략을 순차적 매개하여 취업불안에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 평가염려 완벽주의가 취업불안에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 또한, 순차적 매개효과 검증을 통해 평가염려 완벽주의가 취업불안에 미치는 영향의 구체적인 경로를 발견하고, 사회비교 경향성과 부적응적 인지적 정서조절 전략이 상담치료 과정에 중요한 요인이 된다는 것을 확인하였다. 끝으로 본 연구결과를 토대로 후속연구에 대한 제언과 시사점을 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effects of social comparison orientation and maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies on the impact of evaluative concerns perfectionism on job-seeking anxiety among university students preparing for employment. An online survey was conducted targeting university students from universities located in four cities, and the mediating effects were analyzed using SPSS21 and MACRO PROCESS 3.5. The results are as follows: First, that evaluative concerns perfectionism, social comparison orientation, and maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies were all significantly correlated with job-seeking anxiety. Second, evaluative concerns perfectionism did not influence job-seeking anxiety through social comparison orientation. Third, maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies mediated the relationship between evaluative concerns perfectionism and job-seeking anxiety. Fourth, evaluative concerns perfectionism sequentially mediated job-seeking anxiety through both social comparison orientation and maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies. Based on these findings, the study explored the specific pathways through which evaluative concerns perfectionism affects job-seeking anxiety and highlighted the importance of social comparison orientation and maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies in counseling interventions. Finally, implications for future research were discussed.
