본 연구의 목적은 생태그림책을 활용한 만 2세 영아의 숲놀이 프로그램을 개발하고 효과를 검증하는 것이다. 연구대상은 경북 P시에 위치한 어린이집 3곳에 재원 중인 만 2세 영아 총 60명을 대상으로 12주간 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 생태그림책을 활용한 만 2세 영아의 숲놀이 프로그램은 놀이성과 놀이성의 하위요인에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 생태그림책을 활용한 만 2세 숲놀이 프로그램은 또래상호작용 및 또래상호작용의 하위요인에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 생태그림책을 활용한 만 2세 숲놀이 프로그램은 사회정서발달 및 사회정서발달의 하위요인에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 본 연구결과는 만 2세 영아의 숲놀이 프로그램 적용 가능성 및 교육적 효과를 재조명하고 있다. 아울러 만 2세 영아의 생태그림책을 활용한 숲놀이 프로그램은 놀이성과 또래상호작용과 사회정서발달 증진에 효과적인 프로그램임을 시사하고 있다. 나아가 본 연구결과가 만 2세 영아의 생태그림책을 활용한 숲놀이 프로그램의 기초자료가 되길 기대한다.

The purpose of this study was to develop a forest play program using ecological picture books for 2-year-old infants and toddlers and verify its effectiveness. The study was conducted on 60 2-year -old infants attending three daycare centers located in P-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, for 12 weeks. The research findings were highly encouraging. The forest play program, with its unique blend of ecological picture books and play, was found to significantly enhance playfulness and its subfactors in 2-year-old infants. It also demonstrated a positive impact on peer interaction and its subfactors, as well as social-emotional development and its subfactors. In summary, this study has opened up new possibilities in the field of early childhood development. The forest play program, with its unique use of ecological picture books, has shown to be a highly effective tool in promoting playfulness, peer interaction, and social-emotional development in 2-year-old infants. These findings not only validate the program’s applicability and educational effectiveness but also provide a solid foundation for future research and the development of similar programs.
