The purpose of this study was to design a roadmap for completing extracurricular activities organized on the subject of lifelong education for persons with developmental disabilities (PDD) in connection with the curriculum of special education majors in the graduate school of education. The method of the study used FGI, which selected experts who majored in lifelong education for persons with developmental disabilities as participants. The content of this study was presented with a roadmap for completion of extracurricular activities themed with lifelong education for people with developmental disabilities in connection with the curriculum of the graduate school of education's special education major. As a result of the study, extracurricular activities with the theme of lifelong education for persons with developmental disabilities linked to the curriculum of special education majors at the graduate school of education were presented in terms of major-linked basic and in-depth learning. In other words, the understanding and exploration of lifelong education for persons with developmental disabilities, lifelong curriculum and teaching and learning methods, connection between lifelong education-related institutions, and comprehensive assessment systems were mapped and organized as extracurricular activities based on the common and major subject categorization organized in the curriculum of the graduate school of education's special education major. In addition, a roadmap for operating the above extracurricular activities was presented by integrating not only with the curriculum of special education majors in the graduate school of education, but also with the current qualification training course for lifelong educators. Finally, this study was able to analyze the aspect that the qualification of lifelong education professionals for people with developmental disabilities and the pilot introduction of related major subjects could be promoted through the special education major of the graduate school of education.
본 연구는 교육대학원 특수교육전공 교육과정과 연계하여 발달장애인 평생교육을 주제로 구성한 비교과프로그램의 이수 로드맵을 설계하는 데 목적을 두었다. 연구 방법은 발달장애인 평생교육을 전공한 전문가를 참여자들로 선정한 FGI를 사용하였다. 연구 내용은 교육대학원 특수교육전공 교육과정과 연계한 발달장애인 평생교육 주제의 비교과프로그램 이수 로드맵이 제시되었다. 연구 결과, 전공연계 기초 및 심화 학습의 차원에서 교육대학원 특수교육전공의 교육과정과 연계한 발달장애인 평생교육 주제의 비교과프로그램이 제시되었다. 즉, 교육대학원 특수교육전공의 교육과정에 편성된 공통․전공 교과목별 범주화에 기반하여 발달장애인 평생교육의 이해와 탐구, 발달장애인 평생교육과정 및 교수학습방법, 발달장애인 평생교육 유관기관 간 연계 및 종합 사정 시스템이 각각 비교과프로그램으로 매핑․구성되었다. 그리고 세 가지 비교과프로그램을 운영하기 위한 유형으로 전문가 초청 특강, 학습 소모임 및 현장실습, 자격증이 이수 로드맵상에 반영되었다. 또한, 교육대학원 특수교육전공의 교육과정과의 통합 과정 뿐 아니라, 현행 평생교육사 자격 양성 과정과도 통합되어 위 비교과프로그램이 운영되는 로드맵이 제시되었다. 최종적으로, 본 연구는 교육대학원 특수교육전공을 통해 발달장애인 평생교육 전문인력의 자격 양성과 유관 전공 교과목의 시범 도입 등이 추진될 수 있다는 측면을 분석할 수 있었다.
