결혼이주여성의 가정폭력·성폭력 상담원 양성과정 참여 경험 연구

A Study on the Experiences of Married Immigrant Women Who Participated in Domestic and Sexual Violence Counselor Training

본 연구의 목적은 결혼이주여성들의 가정폭력․성폭력 상담원 양성과정 참여 경험의 구체적 내용과 의미를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구방법은 3년간 서울 00구 가족센터에서 가정폭력․성폭력 상담원 양성교육 100시간 수료자인 결혼이주여성 24명의 참여 기록지를 수집하여 Colaizzi의 현상학적 분석 방법을 사용하였다. 그 결과 총 149개의 의미를 기반으로 상위 개념인 11개의 주제를 도출하였으며, 주제를 묶어 ‘인권에 대한 재인식’, ‘관계 속의 자기에 대한 이해 확장’, ‘폭력에 대한 대처능력 향상’, ‘상담자로서 준비됨’, ‘행복한 소통의 경험’이라는 5개의 범주를 도출하였다. 결론적으로 결혼이주여성들이 경험한 본질을 통해 가정폭력과 관련한 가족상담 서비스 지원에 도움을 주는 실천적 방안을 제안하였다.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze the specific content and meaning of married immigrant women’s experience of participating in a training course for domestic violence and sexual violence counseling. Methods: The study was conducted by collecting participation records from 24 married immigrant women who completed 100 hours of domestic violence and sexual violence counselor training at a family center in Seoul for three years, applying Colaizzi’s phenomenological analysis method. Results: The eleven themes that emerged were derived based on a total of 149 meanings. The higher-level concepts were the themes grouped into five categories: “re-awareness of human rights”, “expanded understanding of self in relationships”, “improved ability to cope with violence”, “prepared as a counselor”, and “experience of a fulfilling happy communication”. Conclusions: We proposed a practical plan to help support family counseling services related to domestic violence through the essence of married immigrant women’s experiences.
