신체 지원 프로그램이 시각장애 학생의 대동작 기능, 신체 균형, 신체 중심 이동에 미치는 영향

The Impact of Physical Support Programs on Gross Motor Function, Body Balance, and Center of Mass Movement of Visual Impairments Students

연구 목적: 시각장애 학생이 18주간 신체 지원 프로그램을 참여했을 때 대동작 기능, 신체 균형 기능, 신체 중심 이동을 분석하고자 실시하였다. 연구 방법: 00맹학교에 재학 중인 학생 14명을 대상으로 18주간 신체 지원 프로그램에 참여하였다. 연구 참여 전과 후의 변화를 알아보기 위하여 GMFM, BBS, FRT검사를 실시하였고, SPSS 25.0을 사용하여 유의수준 0.5에서 신체 지원 프로그램 참여 전, 참여 후 효과를 알아보기 위하여 종속 t검증과 Wilcoxon부호 순위 검정을 실시하였다. 연구 결과: 첫째, 연구참여자들은 대동작 기능의 평균값이 실험 전후의 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 신체 지원 프로그램은 신체 균형 기능의 향상을 가져온 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 신체 중심 이동 기능의 향상을 가져온 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 시각장애 학생이 시각장애로 인해 결여되는 운동 관련 기능을 보상하는 프로그램을 각 발달연령에 맞게 상시 제공할 수 있는 교육 환경이 마련되어야 하며, 이를 효율적으로 수행하기 위한 협력적 교수 체계 마련이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the effects of a 18-week physical support program on gross motor function, balance function, and center of mass movement in visually impaired students. Method: 14 students with visual impairments enrolled in D School for the Blind participated in the 18-week physical support program. To assess changes before and after participation, the Gross Motor Function Measure (GMFM), Berg Balance Scale (BBS), and Functional Reach Test (FRT) were administered. Dependent t-tests and Wilcoxon signed-rank tests were conducted using SPSS 25.0 at a significance level of 0.05 to examine the effects of the physical support program before and after participation. Results: Firstly, participants exhibited a statistically significant difference in the mean value of gross motor function before and after the intervention. Secondly, the physical support program yielded improved in balance function. Thirdly, enhancement in center of mass movement was observed. Conclusion: A program that compensates for the lack of motor-related functions due to visual impairments should be continuously provided in an educational environment tailored to each developmental age. To efficiently implement this, a cooperative teaching system should be established.
