성인문해 중학 과정 수학과 교과서 개발 지침 연구

A Study on the Development Guidelines of Mathematics and Textbook in the Middle School of Adult Literature

이 연구는 성인문해 학습자를 위한 중학과정 수학과 교과서 개발 지침에 대한 것이다. 연구를 위해서 관련 법령 및 선행연구 등에 관한 문헌분석, 중학과정 성인문해 학습 이해관계자 및 전문자 협의를 통한 의견분석, 교육과정 내용 체계 변화 분석 및 교과서 단원 구성 및 내용 체계 등을 살펴보았다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성인문해 중학과정 수학과 교과서 개발은 헌법 및 교육기본법, 평생교육법 및 동법 시행령, 시행규칙 등 법적 근거가 있다. 둘째, 성인문해 학습자는 교과서가 이해하기 쉬운 내용으로 책의 크기와 글자는 더 크고 두께는 더 얇게, 추가 학습 도구가 개발되기를 바란다. 학습자와 교사 모두 교육 내용의 최신화를 요구하므로 내용 선정 및 조직의 재구조화가 필요하다. 셋째, 교과서 단원의 구성과 전개를 살펴보면 교육과정 내용 체계와 기능이 합쳐져 차시 목표를 이루고 있다. 이를 바탕으로 할당된 페이지 내에서 진술될 내용 및 활동을 구체화하고 있다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 성인문해 중학과정 수학과 교과서 개발 지침을 다음과 같이 결론지을 수 있다. 첫째, 변화하는 사회에 적절히 대응하는 건강한 사회구성원으로 사는 삶을 지원하는 교과서가 되어야 한다. 둘째, 성인문해 학습자의 생활 연령을 고려하여 교과서의 발행 형식을 유연화해야 한다. 셋째, 교과서의 활동은 교과 성취 목표를 바탕으로 실생활 중심 소재로 집필되어야 한다. 본 연구는 비형식 학습을 받아온 학습자를 대상으로 개발하는 성인문해 중학 과정 수학과 교과서 개발 지침을 제안하여 성인문해 교육의 시의성을 반영 하고자 하였다는 데 그 의의가 있다.

This study focuses on the development guidelines for mathematics textbooks intended for adult literacy learners at the middle school level. The research involved a literature review on relevant laws and previous studies, an analysis of the needs of adult literacy learners in middle school mathematics, and examinations of changes in the educational content system and the structure and systematics of textbook units. The findings are as follows: First, the development of mathematics textbooks for adult literacy in the middle school curriculum is grounded in legal bases such as the Constitution, the Basic Act on Education, the Lifelong Education Act, and its enforcement decrees and regulations. Second, adult literacy learners desire textbooks that are easy to understand, with larger print and smaller book thickness, and hope for the development of additional learning tools. Both learners and teachers demand modernization of the content, necessitating a reorganization of content selection and structure. Third, the composition and progression of textbook units combine the educational content system and functionality to achieve session objectives. This basis determines the number of pages assigned, within which the specified content and activities are detailed. Based on these findings, the conclusions for the development guidelines of mathematics textbooks for adult literacy at the middle school level are as follows: First, the textbooks should support a life conducive to becoming healthy members of a changing society. Second, considering the age range of adult literacy learners, the format of textbook publication should be flexible. Third, the activities in the textbooks should be written based on real-life oriented materials, grounded in the educational achievement goals. This study proposes guidelines for the development of middle school mathematics textbooks for adult literacy learners, reflecting the timeliness of adult literacy education and focusing on learners with informal education backgrounds.
