보훈대상자 예우와 보훈문화 확산: 의료지원 중심으로

본 연구는 국가를 위해 헌신한 보훈대상자들에 대한 예우와 보훈문화 확산의 중요성을 강조하며, 특히 이들에게 제공되는 의료지원 정책의 현황과 문제점을 알아보고 이를 개선하기 위한 방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 보훈병원의 부족, 지역적 불균형, 경제적 어려움 등 보훈대상자들이 겪는 문제를 해결하기 위해, 의료지원의 지역적 불균형을 해소하고, 전문 의료기관 및 인력을 확충하며, 경제적 지원을 확대해야 한다. 이를 통해 보훈대상자들의 만성질환 및 노인성 질환에 대한 전문적이고 지속적인 의료지원을 제공하고, 그들의 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있다. 또한, 미국, 캐나다, 호주, 대만, 일본 등 주요 국가들의 보훈의료 지원 정책을 분석하여, 한국 보훈의료지원 정책의 개선 방안을 모색하였다. 본 연구는 국가와 사회가 보훈대상자들에게 진정한 예우를 제공하고, 이들의 희생에 대한 감사와 존경을 표할 수 있도록 돕고자 하며, 이를 통해 보훈대상자들이 건강하고 행복한 삶을 영위할 수 있도록 지원하고, 나아가 국가의 발전과 안보를 위해 헌신한 이들의 공헌을 기리는 보훈 문화를 확산시키는데 기여하고자 한다.

This study emphasizes the importance of honoring veterans who have served the country and spreading a culture of veteranism, and aims to analyze the current status and problems of the medical support policies provided to veterans and seek ways to improve them. To solve the problems faced by veterans, such as the lack of veterans hospitals, regional disparities, and economic difficulties, it is necessary to resolve regional disparities in medical support, expand specialized medical institutions and personnel, and expand economic support. This will provide veterans with specialized and continuous medical support for chronic and geriatric conditions and improve their quality of life. The study analyzed the veterans' medical support policies of major countries such as the United States, Canada, Australia, Taiwan, and Japan, and sought ways to improve Korea's veterans' medical support policies. It aims to help the state and society provide genuine honor to veterans, show gratitude and respect for their sacrifices, help them lead healthy and happy lives, and contribute to the spread of a veterans' culture that honors their contributions to the development and security of the nation.
