문화예술전공 중국인 유학생이 인식하는 경제적 어려움이 생활만족에 미치는 영향: 차별인식의 조절효과

The Impact of Perceived Economic Difficulties on Life Satisfaction among Chinese International Students Majoring in Arts and Culture: The Moderating Effect of Discrimination Perception

본 연구는 중국인 유학생이 인식하는 경제적 어려움이 생활만족에 미치는 인과적 관계를 탐색하고, 사회적 요인으로서 유학생이 지각하는 차별인식이 경제적 어려움과 생활만족의 관계를 조절하는 역할을 하는가를 확인하고자 수행되었다. 연구를 위해 서울·경기·충청지역 대학의 문화예술전공 중국인 유학생을 대상으로 설문조사가 진행되었고, 160명의 응답자료를 SPSS 22.0 통계프로그램으로 분석하였다. 연구의 결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 유학생의 경제적 어려움과 차별인식은 정(+)적 상관관계가 확인되었으며, 경제적 어려움과 생활만족, 차별인식과생활만족 간에는 부(-)적 상관관계가 확인되었다. 둘째, 유학생의 경제적 어려움은 생활만족에 유의한 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유학생의 경제적 어려움과 생활만족의 관계에서 차별인식의 유의한 조절 효과가 확인되었다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 유학생에게 경제적 도움을 줄 수 있는 실질적인 방안을 마련하고, 외국인에 대한 차별을 해소하는 데 노력해야 할 것이다. 또한 유학생을 대상으로 학생들의 권리에 대한 인식 수준을 높이는 정기적인 교육을 진행하고, 다양한 검사도구로 유학생의 실태를 파악하여 적절한 지원을 제공할 것을 제안한다.

This study explores the causal relationship between economic difficulties perceived by international students and their life satisfaction, and investigates whether discrimination perception, as a social factor, moderates this relationship. A survey was conducted among Chinese international students majoring in Arts and Culture at universities in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Chungcheong, and the responses of 160 students were analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 statistical program. The results of the study are as follows: First, a positive correlation was found between economic difficulties and discrimination perception among international students, while negative correlations were observed between economic difficulties and life satisfaction, and between discrimination perception and life satisfaction. Second, economic difficulties experienced by international students significantly negatively affected their life satisfaction. Third, discrimination perception had a significant moderating effect on the relationship between economic difficulties and life satisfaction. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested to develop practical measures to provide economic support to international students and prioritize the improvement of discrimination against foreigners. Additionally, it is recommended to implement regular education to raise awareness of students' rights and to use various assessment tools to measure the status of international students, providing appropriate support based on these findings.
