스토리텔링 기반 유아 탄소중립 교육프로그램 개발

Development of a Storytelling-Based Carbon Neutral Education Program for Young Children

본 연구의 목적은 만 5세 유아를 위한 탄소중립 교육프로그램을 개발하는 것이다. 연구를 위해 스토리텔링 환경교육, 스토리텔링 기후감수성, 탄소중립 교육, 기후변화 교육프로그램 등에 대한 문헌을 고찰하였다. 탄소중립 교육프로그램에 대한 유아교사의 요구 분석 결과에 기초하여 유아를 위한 탄소중립 교육프로그램 1차 시안을 개발하였다. 전문가집단 자문을 통해 스토리텔링과 활동유형 및 형태를 구성하여 2차 자문을 시행하였으며, 이 내용을 바탕으로 15개의 활동계획안을 작성하여 3차 자문을 받았다. 이후 C 시의 M 어린이집 만 5세 유아를 대상으로 프로그램의 일부를 적용하고 평가하였다. 4차 자문을 통해 최종 스토리텔링 기반의 탄소중립 교육프로그램을 확정하였다. 본 교육프로그램이 유아교육 현장에서 활용됨으로써 지속가능한 발전의 가치가 내면화될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

For the study, literature on storytelling environmental education, storytelling climate sensitivity, carbon neutrality education, and climate change education programs were considered. Next, based on the results of the analysis of the needs of early childhood teachers for carbon-neutral education programs, the first draft of the carbon-neutral education program for young children was developed. Through expert group advice, the content, activity type, and form of storytelling were organized and secondary advice was conducted. And based on this content, 15 activity plans were derived, and the third advisory was conducted. After that, part of the carbon-neutral education program developed for children in the 5-year-old class of M daycare center in C city was applied and evaluated. A carbon-neutral education program based on storytelling was finally confirmed through the 4th advisory on the performance and evaluation. It is expected that the value of sustainable development can be internalized by using this educational program in the field of early childhood education.
