기독교 상담 대가(大家)의 상담 장면에서의 현존에 대한 내담자 경험 단일 사례 연구

A Case Study of a Client's Experience of A Christian Counseling Master's Presence in the Counseling Scene

본 연구에서는 기독교 상담에서의 신학-상담학의 통합적 관점에서의 현존에 대한 탐구를 시도하였다. 이를 위하여, 다미주 이론과 게슈탈트 이론에서의 현존이란 무엇인가 고찰하고 신학분야에서 최근 연구되고 있는 몸신학과 몸의 현상학에 중점을 두어 살펴본 후, 기독교 상담 대가의 사례를 분석하였다. 연구방법으로는 Merleau-Ponty의 지각의 현상학의 핵심적 주제들로 질문지를 구성하여 기독교 상담 대가에게 장기상담 경험이 있는 내담자와의 심층면담을 실시하였다. 심층면담은 전체 4회, 300분에 해당되는 녹음자료와 전사본, 대가와의 상담현장에서 생성된 현장 생성물 그리고 현장에서의 내담자가 경험한 현존에 대한 그림과 영성일기가 사용되었다. 연구결과 첫째, 기독교 상담 대가의 몸은 안전하게 연결되는 몸이자 고통 가운데 함께 애쓰는 몸으로 지각되었다. 둘째, 기독교 상담자의 현존은 나-너의 관계에서의 하나님이 공명함으로 나타났다. 셋째, 내담자의 어린 시절 트라우마 상황을 작업하며, 내 몸 안에서 나와 함께 겪는 혼연일체로서의 성령님의 현존으로 분석되었고, 마지막으로 새로운 지향성으로서의 소망함이 분석되었다, 기독교 상담에서의 현존은 ‘기독교 상담 대가-내담자-성령님(하나님)’의 세 주체의 동시적 현존으로 경 험되었다. 본 연구가 가지는 의미는 현존에 대해 신학-상담학 관점에서 현존에 대한 탐구를 위해 한 분야의 오랜 시간 동안 능숙함을 가지고 몸 주체로서 상담을 실시해 온 기독교 상담 대가의 임상신학적 사례연구라는 점에 있다.

In order to understand the 'presence' of Christian(pastoral) counselors, this study examined presence from an integrated perspective of theology and counseling and analyzed the cases of Christian counselors. The results showed that, first, the body of the Christian counselor was perceived as a body of safe connection and a body of shared suffering. Second, the presence of the Christian counselor was experienced as the resonance of God in the I-Thou relationship. Third, the presence of the Holy Spirit was analysed as the presence of the Holy Spirit as a unity with me in my body, working with the client's childhood trauma situation, and finally, hope as a new orientation. Presence in Christian(pastoral) counseling was experienced as the simultaneous presence of three entities: the counselor, the client, and the Holy Spirit(God).
