졸업을 앞둔 외국인 유학생의 사회적 지지와 자기효능감, 진로성숙도 간의 관계에 관한 연구

A Study on the Relationship between Social Support, Self-Efficacy, and Career Maturity of Foreign Students Ahead of Graduation

이 연구목적은 졸업을 앞둔 외국인 유학생의 사회적 지지와 자기효능감, 진로성숙도 간의 관계를 검증하는 것에 있다. 주요 변수 간 관계를 검증하기 위하여 현재 우리나라 4년제 대학교에 재학 중인 외국인 유학생을 대상으로 2023년 7월 1일부터 8월 31일까지 약 2개월간 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이 연구분석을 위하여 140명의 응답결과를 활용하여, 기술통계, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였으며 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 졸업을 앞둔 외국인 유학생의 사회적 지지는 진로성숙도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 졸업을 앞둔 외국인 유학생의 사회적 지지는 자기효능감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 졸업을 앞둔 외국인 유학생의 사회적 지지와 진로성숙도 간의 관계에서 자기효능감은 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 졸업을 앞둔 외국인 유학생의 진로성숙도를 높이기 위한 프로그램과 제도를 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between social support, self-efficacy, and career maturity among foreign students nearing graduation. To investigate theses relationships, a survey was conducted over a two-month period, from July 1st to August 31st, 2023. The survey yielded data from 140 respondents, which was analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The findings are threefold: First, social support was found to significantly influence career maturity in theses students; secondly, it also affected their self-efficacy; thirdly, self-efficacy was observed to have a partial mediating effect on the relationship between social support and career maturity. Based on these findings, recommendations for programs and systems designed to enhance the career maturity of foreign students nearing graduation are presented.
