느린 심리적 발달을 보이는 만 3세 유아의 놀이치료와 모래놀이치료를 통합한 사례연구: 자아발달과정을 중심으로

A case study on the integratopn of play therapy and sand play therapy for a 3-year-old toddler with slow psychological development: Focusing on the process of self-development

This study is a play therapy case study that examines the self-development process of a 3-year-old toddler with slow psychological development. Play therapy was conducted once a week for 50 minutes for a total of 60 sessions, and the play themes and self-development process were analyzed. In addition, we examined the changes in the infants' main complaints and daily routines over the course of the study, as well as the changes in emotional and behavioral problems through the K-CBCL pre-and post-test. The results of this study are as follows. First, in the play therapy room with the sandbox, the infants established the development of self by playing without distinguishing the boundary between the sandbox and the floor of the play room. Second, through the play therapy process, toddlers' self-help behaviors increased, their toileting problems were resolved, and their interactions with peers increased. Third, the pre- and post-test results of the K-CBCL showed that the infants' anxiety/depression, physical symptoms, atrophy, sleep problems, and attention problems decreased after play therapy. The significance of this study is that the psychological developmental change process of infants in a play therapy room environment with various playthings, props, and sandboxes can be examined from the analytical psychology perspective of Ray's play theme analysis framework and self-development process.
