Recently, various curriculum resources have been developed along with the government-approved publishing system. The purpose of this study was to analyze how elementary school teachers use mathematics curriculum resources in the process of lesson design. For this purpose, we conducted a survey study among 304 in-service elementary teachers, and based on the results, we categorized the groups and conducted in-depth interviews. The results of the study showed that elementary teachers most frequently used digital curriculum resources throughout the mathematics lesson preparation process (i.e., eliciting student motivation, deciding on instructional activities, preparing assessment, and writing a lesson plan). They valued engaging students' interest and curiosity and connecting math content to real life. This study provides implications for curriculum resource development.
