최근 국제바칼로레아(IB)교육이 공교육에 도입되면, 전국 각 시-도 교육청에서 IB 교육에 대한 관심과 월드스쿨 인증 학교가 증가되고 있다. 이러한 사회적 현상에서 경상북도교육청에서 국제바칼로레아(IB)교육을 도입하기 위한 탐구학교를 선정하여 진행하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 경북형 IB 모델 및 지원 방안을 탐구하고자 한다. 연구방법은 IB 교육과정에서 대한 문헌연구와 경북 교육형 IB PYP, MYP 지원 방안을 위한 문헌과 사례를 바탕으로 탐구하였다. 연구 결과, 경북형 IB PYP 모델 및 지원을 위해 지역 단위 초-중-고 연계형 모델, 마을 연계형 모델, 공동 운영 학교 모델을 제시하였다. 그리고 MYP에서는 삶과 연계한 깊이 있는 이해를 위한 교수-학습, 학생 성장을 위한 평가, 지역 사회와 연계한 민주적 학교 교육과정 설계 등을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 IB PYP, MYP 지원 방안으로 교육청과 교육지원청, 온-오프라인 공유 시스템 구축 등을 제안하였다.
With the recent introduction of International Baccalaureate (IB) education into public education, there has been an increasing interest in IB education and the number of World School-certifiedd schools in each city and province across the country. In this social phenomenon, the Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education has selected an exploratory school to introduce IB education. Therefore, this study aims to explore the Gyeongsangbuk-do IB model and support measures. The research methodology was based on a literature review of the IB curriculum and literature and case studies of IB PYP and MYP support programs in Gyeongbuk. As a result of the study, the following models were proposed for the Gyeongbuk IB PYP and its support: a local-level elementary, middle, and high school model, a village model, and a jointly operated school model. In MYP, we proposed teaching and learning for a deeper understanding of life, assessment for student growth, and democratic school curriculum design in collaboration with local communities. Finally, the report suggests ways to support the IB PYP and MYP, such as establishing an online and offline sharing system with the Ministry of Education and the Education Support Agency.
