IB MYP 공동체 프로젝트 활성화 방안 : 도시재생실천 지역과의 연계를 중심으로

Exploring Ways to Support IB MYP Community Project Activities: Focusing on Regional Linkage in Urban Regeneration Projects

본 연구는 IB MYP 공동체 프로젝트의 활성화를 위해 도시재생실천 지역과 연계하는 방안을 살펴보고자 한다. IB MYP 공동체 프로젝트는 학생의 개인적 관심사를 지역사회에 연결하여 기여하는 실천을 하는 것을 주요 특징으로 한다. 그러나 학교와 지역의 의도하지 않은 분리로 인해 학교가 학생의 지역사회 연결을 지원하기가 쉽지 않다. 이에 본 연구에서 이를 지원하는 방안으로 IB MYP 공동체 프로젝트를 도시재생실천 지역과 연계하는 방안을 탐색해보았다. 이를 위해 먼저 도시재생실천 지역의 교육적 가치를 살펴보고, IB MYP 공동체 프로젝트의 단계별로 이를 연계하는 방안을 논의했다. 그 결과, IB MYP 공동체 프로젝트에 도시재생실천 지역을 연계함으로써 학생의 실생활 연계 교육을 강화하고, 복잡한 이슈에 도전함으로써 의미 있는 실제 학습을 강화할 수 있다고 논의했다.

This study aims to examine ways to link the IB MYP Community Project with urban regeneration project to activate it. The IB MYP Community Project’s main feature is to connect students’ personal interests to the local community and contribute to it. However, due to the unintended separation of schools and regions, it is not easy for schools to support students’ connections to the local community. Therefore, this study explored ways to link the IB MYP Community Project with urban regeneration projects as a way to support this. To this end, we first examined the educational value of the urban regeneration practice area and discussed ways to link it step by step in the IB MYP Community Project. As a result, the IB MYP Community Project was linked to the urban regeneration project. They discussed how linking can strengthen students' real-life connection education and enhance meaningful, authentic learning by challenging complex issues.
