Analyzing Trends in Art Education Research for Fostering Text Mining-based Digital Literacy

텍스트마이닝 분석 결과 첫째, 미술 교과에서는 디지털 활용 능력을 넘어 디지털 사회 일원으로서 갖춰야 할 디지털 시민성에 관한 미술교육 연구도 이루어진 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 디지털 리터러시 역량 향상을 위한 미술교육 연구가 다양한 주제를 다루며 균형 있게 수행되어야 할 필요성이 있음을 확인하였다. 셋째, 미술 교과 내 디지털 리터러시 교육이 학습자 연령에 따라 단계적으로 이뤄질 수 있도록 미술 교과만의 디지털 리터러시 교육 표준 체계를 마련하고 적용해야 할 필요성이 보인다. 본 연구는 텍스트마이닝 기법을 활용하여 디지털 리터러시 관련 미술교육 연구의 전반적인 동향을 수학적 틀로 파악하고 향후 연구에 시사점을 제공했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 디지털 대전환으로 디지털 리터러시 역량 증진의 중요성이 강조되고 있는 시점에서 본 연구의 결과가 향후 디지털 리터러시 함양을 위한 미술교육 연구에 도움이 되길 기대한다.

This study aims to identify trends in art education research focused on fostering text mining-based digital literacy and to suggest future research directions. To achieve this, the study reviewed the theoretical background of digital literacy and examined text mining analysis techniques. The reviewed included academic papers and theses on art education for digital literacy, selected through a five-step process. For the abstracts analysis, R (ver. 4.4.0) and RStudio (ver. 2023.12.1) was adopted. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, art education research has been conducted not only to enhance digital literacy skills but also to educate digital citizenship as a member of a digital society. Second, this study confirmed the need for art education research to enhance digital literacy competence in a balanced manner across various topics. Third, there is a need to devise and apply a standardized digital literacy education program tailored to the art curriculum, enabling a phased digital literacy education following the learners' age within the art curriculum. Given the increasing importance of digital literacy in digital transformation, this study will provide valuable baseline data for future research in art education to improve digital literacy.
