동아시아문화연구방법론에 대한 새로운 탐색

A New Exploration of East Asian Culture Research Methodology

본 연구는 현재까지 동아시아문화를 주재로 하는 동아시아담론을 동아시아문화의 개념, 동아시아의 과거와 현재, 동아시아문화의 범주 등으로 선행연구를 분류하여 보고 기존연구에서 제시하지 못하고 있는 동아시아문화연구의 방법론을 제안하여 새로운 연구가 가능해질 수 있는 분석적 범주의 제시를 목적으로 한다. 본 연구는 내용분석적 방법에 기초하여 동아시아문화 연구동향에 관한 선행연구 분석에 있어서 엄선한 110편의 논문 자료를 수집하고, 그 속에 드러나는 선행연구의 동향을 고찰하고, 선행연구에서 나타나는 동아시아문화에 대한 키워드, 개념을 파악하고, 파악한 키워드에서 추출한 동아시아문화를 바탕으로 Doris Bachmann-Medick의 문화적 전환담론을 활용하였다. 분석결과 동아시아문화에 있어서 공동체문화, 철학(예술,종교)문화, 교류(역사,정치,경제)문화, 비교문화, 대중문화, 지역문화 등에 대한 연구가 다수를 차지하고 있었으며, 해양문화, 문자(한자)문화는 상대적으로 작은 비중으로 수행되어져 왔음을 확인할 수 있다. 하지만 최근 급변하는 문화적 전환들로 인해 새로운 이미지와 번역 등의 전환적 계기가 필요한 바 기존의 동아시아문화연구에 기초한 분석적 범주로는 동아시아문화연구를 하는데 한계를 가져올 수 밖에 없다. 이에 따라 동아시아문화를 번역적, 내러티브적, 이미지적, 연행적 개념 그리고 공간적 전환요소의 개념으로 도출하여 관련된 선행연구 사례를 살펴봄으로써 동아시아문화연구방법의 새로운 연구의 방향을 설정해보고자 한다.

This study aims to analyze previous studies such as the concept of East Asian culture and the category of East Asian culture existing in the discourse of East Asian culture, and to propose a new method of East Asian culture research required by the present era. As a result of the analysis in the analysis of previous studies on East Asian culture research trends, studies on community culture, philosophy (art, religion) culture, exchange (history, politics, economy) culture, comparative culture, popular culture, and local culture in East Asian culture account for a large number of studies, and marine culture and letter culture have been carried out in relatively small proportions. The overall research procedure collected 110 carefully selected papers, reviewed the trends of previous studies revealed in them, identified keywords and concepts for East Asian culture revealed in previous studies, and used Doris Bachmann-Medick's discourse on cultural transformation based on East Asian culture extracted from the identified keywords. It derives the concepts of translational, narrative, image, performance, and spatial transformation elements of East Asian culture, examines related previous research cases, and further produces results on a new perspective of East Asian culture research methods. It is thought that it will be an opportunity to create a new culture of East Asia, not each region, while investigating how East Asian culture and cultural characteristics can be maintained and transformed in the present era.
