This study aims to examine the production patterns of Standard Chinese stops sounds according to the second language experience of Korean learners. Therefore, in accordance with the need for such research, this study studied closure sounds in different environments (word-initial, word-medial) and conducted a long-term calculation experiment targeting beginners, advanced learners, and native speakers of Standard Chinese, such as Mandarin. It was confirmed that the speech production results of advanced learners who are bilinguals exposed to a Chinese language environment were similar to those of native speakers or produced similar speech realizations to native speakers. The significance of this study is that it demonstrated through experimental phonetic research methods that language experience, that is, environmental factors such as foreign language learning period and residence period, can play a positive role in acquiring a second foreign language.
