본 연구의 목적은 국내 숙련된 수퍼바이저 관점에서 상담 수퍼비전을 조명해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 숙련된 수퍼바이저들을 대상으로 효과적인 상담 수퍼비전에 관한 수퍼비전 구조, 내용, 방향과 관련한 인식을 조사하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수퍼비전 빈도는 주 1회, 기간은 1년～2년, 방식은 자유롭게 논의하고 토론하는 것이 적절하다고 나타났다. 둘째, 수퍼비전 내용에 있어 수퍼바이지가 상담 수퍼비전을 통해 내담자의 문제에 대한 이해력, 통찰력이 향상될 수 있다는 답변이 가장 많았으며 수퍼바이지가 내담자 문제에 대한 명확한 이해가 이루어졌는지 점검하는 것이 중요하다고 답하였다. 숙련된 수퍼바이저들이 수퍼비전에서 중요하게 바라보고 교육하는 내용으로는 의사소통 기술이라는 답변이 가장 많았다. 셋째, 수퍼비전이 나아갈 방향에 있어 수퍼바이저는 자기이해에 기반한 인간적 성숙을 위해 노력해야 하며 수퍼바이지의 생각이나 의도를 고려하여 피드백을 해야 한다고 답하였다. 국내 상담 수퍼비전 체제의 개선점으로는 수퍼바이지와 수퍼바이저의 이중 관계 등 윤리적인 문제에 대한 대안이 정립이 확인되었다. 끝으로 결과에 따른 논의 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.
The purpose of this study was to explore the perspectives of experienced supervisors in Korea on effective counseling supervision. Skilled supervisors were surveyed regarding their perceptions of the structure, content, and direction of effective counseling supervision. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was found that supervision typically occurred once a week over a period of 1-2 years, and an open, flexible approach to discussing supervisory methods was considered appropriate. Second, in terms of content, most supervisors reported that supervision enhanced their understanding and insight into clients’issues. They emphasized the importance of ensuring that supervisors had a clear understanding of client's problems. Communication skills were highlighted as a key focus of both observation and instruction during supervision. Third, regarding the direction of supervision, supervisors believed that personal growth, based on self-understanding, was crucial. They also stressed the importance of providing feedback that takes into account the supervisors’thoughts and intentions. Ethical issues, such as dual relationships between supervisors and supervisees, were identified as areas needing improvement in Korea’s counseling supervision system. Finally, suggestions for discussion and further research were proposed based on these results.
