어린이집 원장과 교사의 학부모 민원 대처 경험에 관한 연구

A Childcare Center Director and a Teacher Who Manage Parent Complaints

본 연구는 학부모의 요구와 민원을 대처하며 살아가는 어린이집 원장과 교사의 경험을 들여다보고 이러한 경험이 원장과 교사의 성장에 어떠한 의미가 있는지 내러티브 탐구방법을 사용하여 살펴보았다. 연구참여자는 어린이집 원장과 교사 2명이었으며, 어린이집 현장에서의 이들의 삶의 경험에 대한 내러티브를 시간성, 사회성, 장소의 삼차원적 공간을 고려하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 연구참여자들은 아이를 사랑하는 일과 학부모 민원을 대처하는 일이 공존하는 삶을 살고 있었다. 이들은 지나친 학부모의 민원에 의해 어려움을 경험하면서도 이 경험을 통해 어린이집 현장을 지키며 살아내고 살아가며 성장하는 모습을 보였다. 나아가 자신에 대한 성찰을 통해 다시 태어나도 아이들을 사랑하는 일을 할 것이라는 확신을 갖고, 좀 더 유연하게 학부모를 이해하고 관계를 잘 맺고자 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 성실하게 책임을 다 하는 어린이집 원장과 교사에 대한 신뢰회복에 기여하고, 어린이집과 학부모 간의 협력 관계의 중요성을 강조한다. 본 연구의 결과가 어린이집 원장과 교사가 학부모와 상호 신뢰하는 관계형성의 밑거름이 되고, 영유아 보육 및 교육의 파트너로서 상호 효율적으로 소통, 협력하는 양육 공동체로 성장해가는 초석이 되기를 기대한다.

This study examines the experiences of daycare center directors and teachers who manage parents' complaints and examines the implications of these experiences for the growth of directors and teachers using the narrative exploration method. The narratives of the experiences of the director of the daycare center and two teachers were analyzed in consideration of temporality, sociality, and the three-dimensional space of place. As a result of the study, the participants lived a life in which loving their children and dealing with parents' complaints coexisted. While experiencing the difficulties of parents' complaints, they lived and grew in the field of the daycare center. Furthermore, through self-reflection, he was convinced that he would love children even if he was born again, and he tried to understand and relate to parents more flexibly. The results of this study contribute to the restoration of trust in daycare center directors and teachers who faithfully fulfill their responsibilities and emphasize the importance of cooperative relationships between daycare centers and parents.
