텍스트 마이닝을 활용한 특수교육 기본 교육과정의 연구 동향 분석

Analysis of Research Trends in the Basic Curriculum of Special Education Using Text Mining

본 연구는 특수교육 기본 교육과정의 연구 동향 변화를 살피고 방향성을 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 국내에서 출판된 학술지 발표 연구논문 중 ‘기본 교육과정’ 검색어로 추출된 1998년부터 2024년까지 351편의 논문 제목과 초록을 수집하고, 2016년을 기준으로 전기(1998～2015년)와 후기(2016～2024년)로 나누어 분석하였다. 수집된 자료에서 추출된 키워드는 정제 후, 각 시기에 대한 빈도분석, 의미연결망 및 CONCOR 분석을 수행하였다. 그 분석결과를 몇 가지로 나누어 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기본 교육과정 관련 연구의 주요 키워드는 ‘특수학교’, ‘교사’, ‘내용’ ‘교과’, ‘구성’, ‘성취기준’ 등 이었으며, TF-IDF 가중치 분석결과도 출현빈도의 순위와 유사하게 나타났다. 둘째, 네트워크로 표현한 연결정도 중심성은 전기에는 ‘특수학교’, ‘교사’, ‘내용’, ‘교과’, 후기에는 ‘교사’, ‘교과’, ‘내용’, ‘성취기준’들을 중심으로 형성되어 있다. 셋째, CONCOR 군집분석에서는 전기와 후기에 다소 차이가 있지만, 전체적으로 ‘기본교육과정을 적용하는 특수학교 중심으로 교사의 교과(서)를 활용한 수업’으로 키워드들이 집중되어 있음을 알 수 있다. 이러한 결과를 근거로, 특수교육 분야의 교육과정 이론 연구 확대, 개정 시기별로 기본 교육과정에 반영된 주요 관점, 개념, 용어들에 대한 깊이 있는 검토, 기본 교육과정 관련 연구들의 주제와 방법 등의 다변화, 다양한 측면에서의 교육과정 이론과 실제에 관한 연구가 이루어질 것을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine changes in research trends related to the basic curriculum in special education and explore its direction. A total of 351 research papers published in South Korea from 1998 to 2024 were analyzed, divided into two periods: early (1998–2015) and later (2016–2024). Key findings include: First, the main keywords identified were "special schools," "teachers," "content," "subjects," "composition," and "achievement standards," with similar results from TF-IDF analysis. Second, in the early period, focus was on "special schools" and "teachers," while in the later period, it shifted to "teachers," "subjects," and "achievement standards." Third, the CONCOR analysis showed a concentration of keywords around "classes utilizing teachers' subjects in special schools applying the basic curriculum." The study suggests expanding theoretical research on special education curricula, reviewing key concepts during curriculum revisions, diversifying research themes and methods, and exploring curriculum theory and practice from various perspectives.
