Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the attributes of resilience in adolescents. Methods: A literature survey was conducted by reviewing the relevant papers published in the last 10 years(2014-2024). Only papers written in English or Korean, and papers for which the full text was available were selected. Finally, 14 papers (domestic: 6, international: 8) were used for the analysis. Results: A concept analysis based on the method suggested by Walker and Avant was conducted to identify the attributes of the concept of adolescent resilience. The results showed that adolescent resilience comprised three attributes and 24 sub-attributes. The three attributes included individual, relational, and contextual factors. Individual factors are the ability to overcome adversity, stress, or crisis on one's own, and further include 11 sub-attributes. Relational factors constitute the ability to overcome difficulties on one's own through relationships and support from family, friends, and peers, and include seven sub-attributes. Contextual factors cover the ability to overcome difficulties by utilizing school and community resources and the environment and include six sub-attributes. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop a scale or program that can measure adolescent resilience.
