보육교사가 학부모와 소통에서 느끼는 어려움과 노력

Difficulties and efforts of nursery teachers in communicating with parents

본 연구는 유아교육 기관에서 보육교사와 부모 간의 소통에서 경험하게 되는 어려움과 이를 극복하고자 하는 교사의 노력에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 현재 유아교육 기관에 근무하고 있는 보육교사 10명을 대상으로 2023년 6월 26일부터 9월 31일까지 심층 면담을 시행하여 수집된 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보육교사는 유아교육 기관에서 근무하면서 학부모와 소통하는 것에 많은 어려움을 느끼고 있었다. 둘째, 보육교사는 부모와의 원활한 소통을 위해 다양한 노력을 하고 있었으며 학부모와 신뢰를 쌓기 위한 노력을 하고 있었다. 셋째, 보육교사는 원장이 버팀목 역할을 하며 의지할 수 있는 존재가 되어 주기를 바라고 있었으며 다양한 교육의 기회를 요구하며 국가적인 차원에서 교사를 보호해 줄 수 있는 다양한 지원이 마련되기를 희망하고 있었다. 이러한 결과는 유아교육 기관에서 보육교사, 학부모의 원활한 소통을 위한 의미 있는 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.

This study tried to investigate the difficulties experienced in communication between childcare teachers and parents at early childhood education institutions and the efforts of teachers to overcome them. To this end, we conducted in-depth interviews from June 26 to September 31, 2023 with 10 care teachers currently working at early childhood education institutions and analyzed the data collected. The results of the study are as follows. First, childcare teachers had a lot of difficulties communicating with parents while working at an early childhood education institution. Second, care teachers made various efforts to communicate smoothly with their parents and made efforts to build trust with their parents. Third, care teachers wanted the director to act as a supporter and become a reliable person, and they wanted various support to protect teachers at a national level by demanding various educational opportunities. These results can be used as meaningful data for smooth communication between care teachers and parents at early childhood education institutions.
