중학생이 지각한 부모양육태도와 다문화수용성의 관계에서 배려의 종단매개효과

The Longitudinal Mediating Effect of Care in the Relationship between Parental Parenting Attitudes and Multicultural Acceptability Perceived by Middle School Students

연구목적: 부모양육태도가 배려를 거쳐 다문화수용성에 미치는 구조적 관계를 종단적으로 분석하여 청소년의 다문화수용성을 높이기 위한 방안을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 부산교육종단연구(BELS) 4･5･6차년도의 중학교 1･2･3학년 데이터를 분석에 사용하여 다변량 잠재성장모형을 설정하여 분석하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 중학생이 지각하는 부모양육태도, 배려는 시간의 흐름에 따라 유의하게 감소하는 반면 다문화수용성은 유의하게 증가하는 경향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 모든 변인의 초기값과 변화율의 평균과 분산이 유의하여 개인차가 존재함을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 부모양육태도 초기값은 배려 초기값에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미치고, 배려 초기값은 다문화수용성 초기값에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부모양육태도 변화율은 배려 변화율에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미치고, 배려 변화율은 다문화수용성 변화율에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 초기값과 변화율 모두 부모양육태도는 다문화수용성에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 못했다. 셋째, 부모양육태도와 다문화수용성의 관계에서 배려의 매개효과를 검증한 결과 부모양육태도 초기값에서 다문화수용성 초기값의 간접효과가 유의하였다. 또한 부모양육태도 변화율에서 다문화수용성 변화율의 간접효과가 유의하였다. 따라서 부모양육태도와 다문화수용성의 관계에서 배려는 종단매개효과를 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 논의 및 결론: 우리나라가 다문화사회로 급변 중인 현 상황에서, 사회관계 능력과 태도가 형성되는 중요한 시기인 중학생의 다문화수용성을 높이는 데 있어 긍정적 부모양육태도와 배려를 증가시키는 것이 도움이 된다는 것을 확인한 데 그 의의가 있다.

Purpose: This study is to find a way to increase the multicultural acceptability of adolescents by analyzing the structural relationship between parental parenting attitudes on multicultural acceptability through consideration. Method: To this end, the data from of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year of middle school students in the 4th, 5th, and 6th years of the Busan Education Longitudinal Study(BELS) were used for analysis. As an analysis method, a Latent Growth Curve Model(LGM) was used to confirm the relationship between individual changes over time and the rate of change of major variables. Results: First, it was found that the initial value of parental care also had a positive significant effect on the initial value of consideration, and the initial value of consideration had a positive significant effect on the initial value of multicultural acceptability. In addition, it was found that the rate of change in parental parenting attitude had a positive significant effect on the rate of change in consideration, and the rate of change in consideration had a positive significant effect on the rate of change in multicultural acceptability. Second, as a result of verifying the mediating effect of consideration in the relationship between parental parenting attitude and multicultural acceptability, the indirect effect of the initial value of multicultural acceptability was significant. In addition, the indirect effect of the rate of change in multicultural acceptability in the rate of change in parental parenting attitude was significant. Conclusion: This study is meaningful in confirming that fostering it is helpful to increase parenting attitudes and considerations can play a rucial role in increasing multicultural acceptability of middle school students.
