독서를 기반한 하브루타 부모교육프로그램 연구

A study on a Book-Based Havruta Parent Education Program

본 하브루타 교육은 독서라는 매개체를 통해 공감, 경청, 상호존중하면서 원활한 관계 형성을 지속하는 부모교육 프로그램이다. 본 연구는 2023년 6월부터 2023년 9월까지 총 10회기 동안 주 1회 실시하였으며, 개별 면담은 총 4회 진행하였다. 하브루타 부모교육 프로그램은 첫째, 부모교육 목표는 자녀에게 책 읽어주기 활동을 실시할 때 아동 특성을 이해하고 긍정적인 상호작용과 신뢰감을 형성한다. 둘째, 프로그램 내용은 부모-자녀 상호작용하기, 책 읽어주기, 하브루타식 토론하기, 주제와 관련된 상황과 행동, 생각 등에 대한 느낌을 자유롭게 기록하여 이야기 나눈다. 따라서, 부모-자녀 간의 상호작용과 하위요인인 상호공감과 교류, 자녀발달 촉진, 자녀에 대한 관심, 자녀의 반응성, 자녀의 주도성, 자녀의 민감성에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 하브루타 부모교육은 부모-자녀 간 상호존중을 기반한 토론을 통해 부모역할에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에, 독서활용 하브루타 부모교육은 자녀들에게 책에 대해 친숙해지는 계기가 되고 토론을 통한 공감과 소통이 원활해지므로 부모-자녀 간의 상호작용과 친밀감의 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다.

This Havruta education program is a parent education initiative that, through the medium of reading, promotes empathy, active listening, and mutual respect, fostering the continuous development of healthy relationships. This study was conducted once a week over a total of 10 sessions from June 2023 to September 2023, with four individual interviews also carried out. The objectives of the Havruta parent education program are twofold: first, to help parents understand their children's unique characteristics and foster positive interactions and trust while engaging in read-aloud activities with their children. Second, the program content includes activities such as parent-child interaction, reading aloud, Havruta-style discussions, and the free recording and sharing of feelings related to the themes, situations, behaviors, and thoughts explored in the readings. As a result, the program showed positive effects on parent-child interaction and its sub-factors, including mutual empathy and communication, child development support, parental attentiveness to their children, children's responsiveness, initiative, and sensitivity. This Havruta parent education demonstrated effectiveness in supporting the parental role through respectful discussions based on mutual respect between parents and children. Thus, the book-based Havruta parent education program not only familiarizes children with books but also promotes smoother empathy and communication through discussions, leading to positive effects on parent-child interactions and fostering closeness.
