Comprehension and Application of Countertransference in Contemporary Psychoanalysis: Analysis on Countertransference with the Figure Therapy

본 연구는 고전정신분석으로부터 현대정신분석에 이르기까지 역전이 개념의 변천 과정을 문헌을 통해 고찰하고 현대적 관점의 역전이 개념을 이해하여 상담 장면에서 이에 대한 활용을 돕고자 하였다. 더불어 현대정신분석학의 주요 기류로서 대두된 상호주관성 이론에 대한 이해를 도모한다. 상호주관성 이론의 중심에는 발달된 역전이 개념이 전제되어 있다. 고전정신분석에서 역전이는 상담자가 반드시 극복해야만 하는 것이었지만 현대정신분석의 역전이는 전이와 마찬가지로 주요한 분석적 도구로 변모되었다. 이러한 변화된 역전이 개념으로써 정신분석의 혁명이라 일컬어지고 있는 상호주관성 이론이 도출되었다는 사실에서 본 연구는 가치가 있다. 역전이 개념의 발달과 임상적 활용을 논의하기 위해서는 투사적 동일시와 실연에 관한 이해가 수반되어야 한다. 투사적 동일시와 실연은 내담자의 내적 세계에 접근할 수 있는 훌륭한 분석 자료로 사용할 수 있다. 연구자는 사례분석을 통해 앞선 논의들에 대한 이해를 더하였고 임상 실제에서의 적용이 용이하도록 했다. 특별히 전이-역전이를 활성화시키고 이에 대한 분석에 도움을 주는 인형치료적 개입을 보여준다. 연구의 결론은 상호주관적인 상담관계와 상담자의 자기성찰의 중요성을 인식시킨다.

The study is to consider the transition process of the concept of countertransference from classical psychoanalysis to contemporary psychoanalysis through literature and help the application of countertransference in counseling scene by understanding the concept of it from the contemporary point of view. Moreover, the study promotes the comprehension of intersubjectivity theory, which emerged as a main stream of contemporary psychoanalysis. The developed concept of countertransference has been premised in the center of intersubjectivity theory. In the classical psychoanalysis, countertransference used to be a problem which must be overcome by a counselor, however in the contemporary psychoanalysis, it changed to an essential analytic tool, just like a transference. For the intersubjectivity theory, referred to as a revolution of psychoanalysis, has been drawn out as a result of the transition of countertransference, the study is valuable. Understanding a projective identification and an enactment should be accompanied to discuss the development and the clinical application of the concept of countertransference. A projective identification and an enactment are great materials to access the inner world of a client. The study aimed to facilitate a clinical application easy by adding the comprehension to an earlier discussion through the case analysis. Especially, the study vitalizes transference-countertransference and shows the figure therapeutic intervention which helps the analysis on it. The conclusion of the study emphasizes the recognition of an intersubjective counseling relationship and an importance of counselor’s introspection.
