교실붕괴 기사에 대한 비판적 담론 분석: 조선일보를 중심으로

A Critical Discourse Analysis on the "Classroom Collapse" reports: Focusing on the Chosun Ilbo's

이 연구는 푸코의 담론이론과 문제의식을 공유하면서 공교육의 위기 담론, 특히’l교실붕괴”라는 하나의 ‘담론적 사건을 일으킨 조선일보 기사들을 분석하고자 하였다. ‘·교실붕괴”가 하나의 담론으로서 어떻게 형성되었으며 그것이 신보수주의적 신자유주의 담론과 어떻게 접합되는지를 푸코의 거시적 문제의식을 미시적 당론분석과 결합한 Fairclough의 비판적 담론분석 접근을 원용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 조선일보의 “교실붕괴” 기사들이 공교육의 위기를 담보로 교육의 자율적 담론을 ‘시장화’하고 그것을 일상의 교육담론으로 유포하는 사회적 실천을 수행하였음을 드러내었다, 담론의 현실 구성력을 생각해 볼 때l 교육의 가치를 모든 사람들이 향유하도록 하기 위해서는 일상의 교육 담론에 접합되어 있는 ‘시장화’된 요소들을 탈접합하는 비판적 분석과 함께 적극적으로 교육의 본질을 드러내는 이론적 실천이 교육학도의 중요한 임무라는 사실을 강조하였다. From a viewpoint of Foucault’ s discourse, this study aims to analyze The Chosun Ilbo's reports on "Classroom Collapse" which have become a discursive event for "Classroom Collapse" discourse. The formative process of "Classroom Collapse" discourse and its articulative process with 'neoliberalism' I and 'neoconservatism’ discourse on education have been analyzed with N. Fairclough's critical discourse analysis approach, of which the purpose is to overcome the disadvantages of micro­and macro- discourse analysis. It has been revealed that "Classroom Collapse" reports have been 'marketizing' the autonomous discourse of education, and have been spreading the marketized discourse to everyday lives. with consideration of constructive capability of discourse, it has been emphasized that it is crucial for educational researchers to perform the critical analysis on everyday lives' discourse of education, and to make theoretical practice of revealing essential value of education, for the sake of everyone relishing the essential value of education.
