그림책을 활용한 미술 감상프로그램이 유아의 미적 반응에 미치는 효과

The Effect of Art Appreciation Education Progra using Picture book on Young Children`s Aesthetic Response

본 연구는 그림책의 본질적 특성인 그림에 대한 유아와 교사의 이해를 돕고 미술감상활동에 유아와 교사 모두에게 친숙한 그림책을 활용함으로써 미술감상활동 매체에 대한 다양성을 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 그러므로 그림책이 미술감상활동의 매체로서 가치가 있음을 증명하기 위해 그림책을 활용한 미술감상교육 프로그램을 제공하여 이 프로그램이 유아의 미적 반응에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다.

The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of art appreciation education program using picture books on young children`s aesthetic responses. The subjects were 40, 5 and 6 year old kindergarteners. The experimental group involved in 8 times of art appreciation education program using picture books for 8 weeks while control group involved in storybook reading and activities. Ten picturebooks were selected for this study and art appreciation activities related the picturebooks were used for the study. Pretest-post test were conducted to examine the effect of the program. Independent t test was used to analyze the data. The results of this study was as following: there was a significant differences between the experimental and control group in the frequency of the overall aesthetic utterances: utterances about visual cue- attendance, interpretation and the picture book design.
