인쇄기술 발달이 아동도서에 미치는 영향

The Influence of Printing Technology in Children Books

아동도서를 제작할 때는 아동으로 하여금 독서흥미가 유발되게끔 제작되어야 하는데, 그러기 위해서는 다양한 형태의 아동도서를 제작하기 위한 인쇄기술이 요구된다. 본 연구는 인쇄기술 발달이 아동도서에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 이를 토대로 앞으로 아동도서 출판의 방향을 제시하는데 목적을 둔다. 아동들은 감각을 통해 사물과 세계를 구체적으로 인지하기 때문에 아동도서는 그들의 감각에 맞게 발행되어야 한다. 따라서 기존의 그림동화류는 물론 읽기와 놀이를 함께하는 장난감도서, 시청각자료, CD-ROM, Internet 출판물, E-Book 등과 같은 전자출판을 활용한 아동도서 인쇄에도 주목해야 하며 아동의 심리적 상태를 파악하여 그 욕구에 부합한 소재와 그에 따른 인쇄 기술을 발달시킬 필요가 있다.

Printing children books, a printer must consider the following things ; (1) contents of the book (2) a talented illustrator s (3) an able printer. A publisher must stimulate interest in reading by children. The purpose of this study is to understand the influence of printing technology in children books and to suggest the direction of it. A human being is greatly influenced by books. A children especially recognize all things from their senses. Therefore the children books should be printed a various types according to their senses. Recently the number of the children books are increasing steadily. So a printer should be concerned about printed books, toy books, audio-visual materials, and electronic publications (ex : CD-ROM, internet materials, E-books). Above all, they must analyze the needs of the children and developing of printing technology is always based on this points. The children books should be published as follows ; 1. Printed books should be considered a size of characters, illustration, a wide of space between lines, and a bulk of book. 2. Toy books should be considered to stimulate interest in reading. 3. Audio-visual materials should be considered the quality of them. 4. Electronic books should be considered the needs of children`s information. A printer does not concern about the quantity of children books but must improve the quality of them.
