그림이야기책 만들기 활동이 유아의 창의성에 미치는 효과

The Effect of Picture Storybook Making Activity on Young Children`s Creativity

본 연구는 그림이야기책 만들기 활동이 유아의 창의성을 증진시키는데 효과적인지를 알아보고자 수행하였다. 연구대상은 대전광역시에 위치한 만 4세 유아 44명이며, 실험집단(22명)은 그림이야기책 만들기 활동을 전개하였고, 통제집단(22명)은 일반적인 유치원 교육과정을 내에서 생활주제에 따른 언어 활동을 전개하였다. 연구 결과 그림이야기책 만들기 활동은 유아의 창의적 인성에 영향을 주지는 않았지만, 언어 창의성, 도형 창의성, 작품평가를 통한 창의성을 증진시키는데 효과가 있었다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of picture storybook making activity on young children`s creativity. Subjects for this study were 44 four-year-old children attending two kindergartens in Daejeon. Experimental group was sampled from J kindergarten, and control group was sampled from kindergarten attached to M elementary school. Each group consisted of 22 young children (10 boys and 12 girls). Results of this study were as follows: First, there was significant effect of picture storybook making activity on increasing young children`s language creativity (fluency, flexibility, originality). Second, there was significant effect of picture storybook making activity on increasing young children`s figure creativity (fluency, originality). Third, there was no significant effect of picture storybook making activity on young children`s creative personality. Forth, there was significant effect of picture storybook making activity on increasing young children`s creativity based on the expert`s rating of children`s works.
