같은 동화의 반복 들려주기와 여러 동화의 한번 들려주기가 유아의 이야기 구성 길이에 미치는 효과

The Effect of Repetition Reading and Extensive Reading through Fairy Tale Stories on Young Children's Length of Narrative

본 연구는 유아교육 기관의 현장에서의 만 4세～5세 유아를 대상으로 동화를 들려주는데 있어 같은 동화의 반복 들려주기와 여러 동화의 한번 들려주기에 따라 유아의 이야기 구성 길이에 차이가 있는지를 알아보았다. 연구의 결과 유아교육기관의 대그룹 상황에서 낱장식 동화 형태로 유아들에게 같은 동화의 반복 들려주기와 여러 동화의 한번 들려주기 하였을 때 유아들 간의 이야기 구성 길이는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of repetition reading and extensive reading through fairy tale stories on length of narrative of young children. The subject of this study were 105 children (55 in the experimental group & 50 in the control group) of 5.6 year old of a kindergarten located on Incheon, Korea. Repetition reading and extensive reading of fairy tale stories were conducted for 40 days. Test score was analyzed by ANCOVA. The results of this study are a follows: There was no difference in the effect of repetition reading and extensive reading through fairy tale stories on young children`s length of narrative.
