The effect of Art Appreciation and Expression Activities using Picture Book

본 연구는 그림책을 활용한 그림 감상-표현 활동이 유아의 미술감상능력과 미술표현능력에 어떠한 효과를 미치는지를 알아보는데 있다. 이를 위해 설정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 그림책을 활용한 그림 감상-표현활동이 유아의 미술감상능력 향상에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 둘째, 그림책을 활용한 그림 감상-표현활동이 유아의 미술표현능력 향상에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 연구대상은 A시의 만 5세 유치원 유아 36명으로 1주일에 3회씩 8주 동안 24회에 걸쳐 그림책을 활용한 그림 감상-표현활동을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 그림책을 활용한 그림 감상-표현활동이 유아의 미술감상능력과 미술표현능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다.

The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of art appreciation and expression using picture book on young children`s art activities. To meet the purpose, the research questions were set up as follows: first, Does art appreciation-expression using picture book have an effect on improving the children`s ability of art appreciation? second, Does art appreciation-expression using picture book have an effect on improving the children`s ability of art expression? The subjects of this research were 36, 5-year-old children. The children in experimental group took part in 24 times of art appreciation-expression using picture book for 8 weeks. The results of this study were summarized as follows; first, There was a statistically significant difference between the experimental and control group in young children`s art appreciation ability. second, There was a statistically significant difference between the experimental and control group in young children`s art expression ability. It means that the activities of art appreciation-expression using picture book had an effect on improving the children`s ability of art activity.
